Editor,

General George Patton once remarked, “Politicians are the lowest form of human. Liberal Democrats are the lowest form of politician.” So it is with our esteemed governor, who has seen fit to opine on political matters in other states, as if all things California are perfect. Funny, though, when Illinois, New Mexico, Oregon, Maryland and Nevada recently gerrymandered their way to Democratic majorities, Newsom didn’t offer an opinion. With this is mind, I’d like to offer our governor some advice.

Well written, Mr. Marty. We all know Newsom will leave his mess for someone competent to clean up, kind of like Trump having to clean up for treasonous Obama and treasonous Biden. Woe to the next Governor of California. Perhaps we need Trump to run for governor in 2030, assuming Trump isn’t still POTUS, and show Democrats how to do things. Again.

Have you seen the candidates! Newsome is an angel and has done more for California than any of the future candidates ever will. Arnie was a waste of 4 years but you didn't complain about him. Brown got a lot done, with controversy. Nothing's going to fix itself so if you're that unhappy run for governor

easygerd

Ronald Reagan signed bike lanes into law.

Arnold Schwarzenegger signed Complete Streets into law.

Gavin Newsom has constantly sided with speeding, reckless drivers against green, sustainable, healthy transportation. Brown less so, but you just have to look at his Oakland years to see his failures.

I would say Arnold is actually the "greenest" governor California ever had.

Arnold Schwarzenegger started a lot of the green policies California is known for now.

Gov Brown certainly deserves some credit there as well.

But neither Grey Davis nor Gavin Newsom are known for their "green thumbs".

Google "Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bicycle" and you see hundreds of photos and videos of him riding around LA and Malibu.

Google "Gavin Newsom and Bicycle" and you find one or two photo ops or AI images.

I hope you’re joking, mmaylan, but if you aren’t you’re still hilarious. I’m not sure who this Newsome is you speak of but I’m assuming you mean Newsom. Newsom has done more for California? Perhaps, but not in a positive manner. For your reading pleasure, listed below are a few links highlighting Newsom’s incompetence. I’m not sure future candidates can fail as badly, but if they’re Democrats, they may. Enjoy. If needed, I can provide more raindrops in an ocean of reports chronicling Newsom’s disastrous career as a politician.

BTW, I did complain about Arnie and Brown and just about everyone who has punished Californians with their lousy policies. They did a better job than Newsom - the worst of the worst in the history of California, so far.
