The continued, tired, old liberal bashing and whataboutism shown by the MAGA cult is beginning to crack as the Felon guts the departments showing his disastrous economic policies, forces troops to occupy democratic cities under false pretences, "disappears" legal people who have committed no crimes to foreign prisons, rolls out the red carpet for a Russian war criminal on our own soil, desperately tries to bury the files on his association with a pedophile and releases the convicted co-molester to Camp Fed with work release privileges, directs his MAGA minions to gerrymander more seats out of abject fear of losing the midterms, and, what else? Too much to describe here. The MAGA faithful are dwindling and the Felon's poll numbers crashing. The Nazi comparisons are not hyperbole - they are spot on. And the country is waking up. Hey Bob - you mean the "democratic institutions" as defined by the left leaning Democrats, don't you? Just recently, your cohorts managed to place an undemocratically elected candidate on the presidential ballot. Furthermore, it turns out that Biden's handlers were running the country, none were elected. Don't throw stones in glass houses. Fortunately, over 70 million voters remembered what democratic institutions and principles were still alive and well, regardless of years of trying to throw them in the trash bin. The truth hurts, doesn't it?

In the last 6 years 3 of our Presidents were Democrats and 3 were Republican. Doesn't sound much like Hitler's Germany. Dems get their chance in 4 years if they can come up with a good candidates and policies Americans will vote for.

I find the comparison of Trump’s political moves to Nazi tactics to be over-the-top and misleading. It overlooks the huge gap between a democracy with checks and balances and a dictatorship that crushed all opposition. Sure, loyalty plays a role in every political appointments, but equating it to the Nazis’ demand for total ideological obedience, backed by imprisonment or worse, is a stretch.

Your letter’s claim about persecution trivializes the Holocaust’s horrific scale. Trump’s immigration policies, while divisive, operate under legal oversight, not like the Nazis’ extrajudicial atrocities. Same goes for his stance on science. Disagreeing with climate change or vaccine research isn’t the same as banning entire fields like the Nazis did with “Jewish” science. Trump’s choices reflect political priorities, not a systematic purge of knowledge.

I get that some of Trump’s actions have sparked concern, but our democratic institutions have held strong, unlike the total collapse of democracy under the Nazis. You can criticize Trump’s policies without equating them to one of history’s worst regimes. That kind of comparison risks downplaying the true horror of the Holocaust and Nazi crimes.

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Steele, but don’t you think our (yes, our) great President Trump would have dealt first with your (mostly) independent media and courts? Especially since everyone knows Democrats will resort to lawfare when they don’t get their way – hoping activist judges will stop Making America Great Again, again. As for media, Trump would deal with the mainstream media, not independents, since mainstream media are basically Democrat mouthpieces with no issues peddling fake news and lies. In fact, I’d posit their fake news and lies are the basis for your LTE. BTW, in regards to sick ideology on American life, can you explain why Democrats are for criminals remaining in our country, for not enforcing laws, for preferring biological males competing against biological females, etc.?
