Editor,

I found Steven Howard’s letter to the editor on redistricting to be particularly rich in unintentional irony.

I am a registered Democrat and Gavin is not doing my will. This governor is more concerned with how things look nationally and his 2028 bid than with solving problems here in California.

Apparently, the bat signal to write letters supporting newsom’s treachery is on the docket. Thanks for your letter, Mr. Nakamura, but newsom is not doing the will of the voters – the voters haven’t voted yet. It would be foolish to think newsom’s anti-democratic push in his zeal to counter what he thinks is anti-democratic has passed. Please. Get real.
