Between Donald Trump chaos and reckless state spending, “voter fatigue” does not reflect the mood. ... It is voter rage.
Millions of Californians have watched in frustrated anger as hard-earned tax dollars vanish into a black hole of waste. When the gubernatorial choice feels like bad or worse, voting for Steve Hilton is an ultimate civic hand gesture.
We do not need a visionary to overhaul the Golden State. We need a human emergency brake — someone to slow the runaway spending train and stop the fiscal and regulatory nonsense. Hiding the $30 billion debt outside the official budget and passing giveaways like free diapers for all, regardless of income is absolutely irresponsible. Voting for Hilton sends an unmistakable message — taxpayers are fed up with being the endless ATM, and we are pulling the plug on the circus.
C.Gillett - you hit the nail on the head. While I appreciate the DJ, perhaps because of space, much of the fraud and outright waste on social programs is never reported. The relatively new California Post reports daily on some outrageous spending on free solar panels for illegal aliens, of course the truck driver licenses issued to illegals who do not even understand our language, sweet heart deals for Newsom's wife and her friends, and incredulous mismanagement in LA. Then, an exploding homeless population shepherded by despicable NGOs and SF is happy to report that there are now only 80 daily car jackings and around only one daily deceased overdosed addict. Remember the term 'new normal'. The middle finger is not enough but it is a start. Vote Hilton, we need him!
Excellent letter - you're so right on every point. The longer we remain a one party state the more corrupt we become. Politicians pass endless spending bills in trade for political donations. The Dems are counting on the next Democrat President and Democrats in Congress to bail CA out but the rest of the states will never agree. The Federal Reserve and will never float US debt just to help CA. Dems in CA will then try to get rid of Prop 13 but the voters won't go for it. The only solutions is to elect more Republicans to run the state.
