Editor,

Héctor Camacho is not the kind of leader who needs a spotlight to do his best work.

Hola Manuel - we need an executive in that position, not a social worker. Those are a dime a dozen.

No thanks, Mr. Santamaria. If Mr. Camacho is working to prevent immigration enforcement from doing their job, then Mr. Camacho is not putting students or America first. Legal citizens have no need to worry about immigration enforcement. Vote for anyone but Camacho.

Unfortunately - he is the only one running. Chelsey is not qualified as she is not credentialed.

Wait, Mr. van Ulden. So Xavier Becerra didn’t meet the requirement for practicing law yet was “qualified” to run and become AG. And Swalwell didn’t meet California residency requirements yet was “qualified” to run for Governor? If so, it’s obvious that “qualified” is more a guidance than a requirement. As such, I’d say Ms. Bonini is “qualified” to run even if she is not credentialed. Has the “law” deemed and removed her from the ballot? Or has Ms. Bonini removed herself from consideration? If not, I’d recommend folks vote for her. Anyone but Camacho.
