Editor,

Everyone should be appalled by the Charlie Kirk shooting but the selective outrage of Republicans is full-blown hypocrisy. When a national tragedy occurs, they idolize Republican victims while dehumanizing Democratic victims.

New low there Irv. Here are some facts:

-The U.S. House of Representatives passed a unanimous resolution condemning the attacks on Minnesota state legislators (committed by a deranged Tim Walz appointee)

-No Republicans justified or celebrated the Minnesota attack/murder

-Democrats could have organized any memorial service they wished for Melissa Hortman (it wouldn't have been as well attended as the Charlie Kirk service, as he was a nationally influential figure while Hortman was not well known before her killing.)

-President Trump ordered flags to fly at half-staff for the victims of the Minneapolis school shooting on August 27, and for several other mass shootings during both his terms as President

Hope that helps!

Well Irv - you are getting quite boring. While the vigil for Charlie Kirk became a national and an international event, this country saw no mayhem, no violent reactions, no riots and no further murders. Contrast that with the thoroughly irrational national and international over the top reaction when a drug addicted person died during an arrest by the police. The whole world blew up and all was based on hype by your cohorts. They were both humans and victims but their respective deaths were the result of significant differences in their lifestyle.

I think the fault is in the stars, in this case the mass media that follows the dictates of the AP.

Here we go again…Mr. Brenner’s full-blown hypocrisy in blaming Republicans for hateful rhetoric from Democrats. Your selective outrage is noted and immediately dismissed. After all, one can quickly go to YouTube and review footage of Eric Schmitt’s recent questioning of Kash Patel where Schmitt highlights the violence committed by the left targeting conservatives, Christians, Trump supporters and random citizens. To wit…

Congressional baseball practice shooting

Summer of Love riots

Waukesha Christmas Parade massacre

Lee Zeldin stabbing attempt

Covenant School shooting (Nashville)

Butler, Pennsylvania assassination attempt on Trump

Trump International West Palm Beach assassination attempt

Abundant Life Christian School shooting

United Care CEO’s murder

Tesla firebombing and attacks

Murders at Israeli Embassy

ICE facilities firebombed

Minnesota Catholic school shooting

Anti-white stabbing in Charlotte, NC

Utah News firebombing attempt

Perhaps you can convince Democrats to tamp down their rhetoric but I’m not surprised the small Democrat minority controlling the party doubles and triples down on their hateful rhetoric. Are some Democrats cowed into submission because they’re afraid rhetoric will begin targeting them? The folks that hate America have shown us who they are – we should believe them and hold them accountable. Have a Trump-tastic day!
