San Mateo County will have no shortage of No Kings events this Saturday, Oct. 18, to protest the policies of President Donald Trump — with Pacifica, San Bruno, San Mateo, San Carlos, Belmont and Redwood City all holding events.
In Pacifica, an event will be at Mori Point from noon to 1 p.m. In San Bruno, the event will be at 11 a.m. at the Shops at Tanforan and will include Japanese Americans who were placed in internment camps during World War II to say no to deportation. In San Mateo, there will be a march from the Hillsdale Shopping Center to Central Park starting at 1 p.m. It will begin at the West Elm Furniture store at 31st Avenue and head north to Central Park at Ninth Avenue for a 2 p.m. rally. The intent is to join others who “share the values of democracy and respect for each other and for the Constitution and the rule-of-law.” In San Carlos, there will be an event with a commitment to nonviolent protest from noon to 1 p.m. at 700 Laurel St. In Belmont, there will be an event from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a commitment to nonviolent protest with the location provided upon registration at nokings.org. In Redwood City, the event will be 1-3 p.m. at the County Center.
The “No Kings” march and protest in San Francisco is expected to be one of the largest in the Bay Area. The march will begin at 2 p.m. in Sue Bierman Park in Embarcadero Plaza and then end at Civic Center Plaza for a rally that starts at 3:30 p.m.
There will also be a human banner at Ocean Beach in San Francisco where hundreds of people will stand in a formation that will read “NO KINGS! YES ON 50.” Proposition 50, which will head to voters for the Nov. 4 special election, is a statewide ballot measure to allow the temporary redrawing of congressional districts in the state.
Indivisible encourages attendees to participate in their local “No Kings” protests. A complete map of scheduled rallies can be found at nokings.org/#map.
Saturday’s protests will be the second “No Kings” day of demonstrations since Trump took office in January. The first “No Kings” protest in June drew tens of thousands of participants in the Bay Area.
Yes, I take it that they had preferred a real queen. Harris was nominated by her party outside the normal democratic process; the definition of a monarch. It tells one more about the pervasive TDS that this country is afflicted with. It is beyond ironic watching these herd animals and their signs.

Funny😆 Trump was democratically elected. He won the popular vote and every swing State 💪
