Leonilda Ferraris, of San Mateo, died May 2, 2011.
She was 99.
Wife of 60 years to the late Frank Ferraris and survived by her daughters Teresa Zucca and Nancy Siva and her son Frank Ferraris. Mother-in-law of George Zucca and Linda Ferraris; grandmother of Keith Zucca, David Zucca, Peggy Delbon, Gino Zucca, Giulia Ferraris, Gianina Marshall and Nicholas Ferraris; great-grandmother of Jessica Dezarn, Brianna Bachman, Erika Zucca, Melissa Delbon, Amanda Delbon, Michael Zucca, Benjamin Zucca, Peter Zucca, Dominic Zucca, Justin Zucca, Angela Brandon, Adrienne Stephens, Alison Marshall, Isabelle Ferraris and Nicky Ferraris; great-great-grandmother of Tristan Dezarn; sister of Giuseppe Maggiora and the late Gino Maggiora. Aunt of Roberto, Piera and Francesca Bonino, Luigi Ferraris, Mariuccia Vergano and Carla Cavagna. The family wishes to thank Rosanna, Norma and Claudia of Friendly Corner Home for their loving care of Leonilda during her last years.
Friends and family may visit from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011 and attend the 7 p.m. vigil at Chapel of the Highlands, 194 Millwood Drive at El Camino Real in Millbrae. The funeral mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 6 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 1 Notre Dame Ave. in San Mateo. Interment will follow at Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to: Saint Matthew’s Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 1 Notre Dame Ave., San Mateo, CA 94402.
